Orientation Courses

The International School of the Golden Rosycross, the Lectorium Rosicrucianum, presents in our time a practical and actual realization of the gnostic path. The School of the Rosycross is rooted in an ancient tradition of mystery schools, but its message is modern. This message appeals to the highly individualized consciousness of the human being of today. The gnostic philosophy is not an abstract doctrine, but describes a practical path, a path of renewal for humanity. For the pupil of the Rosycross, this gnostic doctrine represents an active source of power from which he or she lives. 

The Spiritual School exists to help those people who are yearning to understand the real purpose of life, and to unlock the inner source of fundamental knowledge about their own self and the world around them. During this 13-lesson Orientation Course we will introduce you to the most important ideas and insights of the gnostic philosophy of the International School of the Golden Rosycross. By going beyond a simple intellectual absorption of the contents and penetrating into the essence of what the School is presenting to you, it will be possible to experience their reality. For this essence is hidden in every human being; it can communicate itself to us as a pure gnostic knowing, and develop in us a longing to go the path.

The Orientation Course is presented periodically as part of the Public Work program of the centres of the Lectorium Rosicrucianum, and is also available to be undertaken by correspondence.
